May Day Bliss

Last week we were lucky to have weather in the 70s and 80s. Today, the 30s, and better yet, snow. We got around 9 inches while friends just outside of town measure 14-16 inches.

I noticed during one of my many midnight bathroom trips that we were without power. Not that big of a deal while sleeping. I had such a hard time crawling out of my nice warm bed to a 60 degree house. School was cancelled which now might make June 3rd our last day of school rather than May 31st. As we wee getting ready to head to my friend Jenna's house for warmth and to put Adelynn down for a nap, the power kicked on after six hours. Phew!
