That is what the meteorologists were forecasting for potential snowfall Tuesday night into Wednesday. I was thrilled! Well, except for the fact that I figured we would have had a few more of these while I was on maternity leave and could wake up in the morning with relief of not having to drive in it. Go figure it holds off until my first week being back to work.
Before tucking the kids into bed, they called me upstairs to look at our new pool. Yup, our entire yard was standing water. This should be fun to drive to work in the morning. I was sad to wake up Wednesday morning and see that our rain never turned into snow.
Maybe next winter...
