schools out for the summer

Sam excelled at Kindergarten with reading, writing and basic math. Every Monday a new homework assignment would come home. First thing Sam did on Monday's when she walked in the door was to race to the dining room table to do her homework. She loves reading books to herself and a select few who she didn't feel shy with. Sam's excited to spend the summer drawing with chalk, running in the sprinklers, going to the lakes, and playing on her first soccer team.
Next Stop: First Grade & all day school

Seth liked going to school to hang out with his friends. He likes to read books that he is familiar with and count money as long as he gets to keep that money when he is done. Seth is not big on doing homework or practicing his spelling words. He is a smart boy, it's just a matter of making it fun for him. Overall, Seth had a fun year of being in First Grade. Seth is looking forward to playing his first season of baseball, riding his new dirtbike, having sleepovers at Josh & JoJo's house, going to the lakes and taking more Harley rides.
Next Stop: Second Grade

Today Seth told me that he wished I was a teacher so I could be home all summer. Oh buddy... if only I could have the summers off.
